About Otis
The Town of Otis was founded in 1810 and is located in Berkshire County.

Considered to be a paradise for outdoor activities the town contains many lakes and ponds for swimming and water sports. With acres of public forests for those who wish to camp and go hiking, as well as snowmobiling and cross country skiing and hunting when the season is right.

The community is made up of mostly those who are retired but both residents as well as seasonal visitors continue to be involved in old fashion church suppers and several summer craft fairs along with block dances and also senior citizen activities.

Jon Berman Benefit Concert + Auction

RS Berkeley artist Jon Bermanwill be ours for the evening with guitar and saxophone in hand to perform a benefit concert for Farmington River Elementary School.While he performs, were excited to present a silent auction organized by the Farmington River PTA, as well as hors doeuvres and a wine tasting provided by Furnace Brook Winery ofHilltop Orchards in Richmond, MA.

Jonhas performed for over twenty years with acts such as Changes In Latitudes, The Sweet Remains, Barefoot Truth, Carlos Reyes, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Charles Neville, and The Fear Nuttin Band. ?In his touring career, Jon has opened for many acts including Matt Nathanson, O.A.R., Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Gin Blossoms, Collective Soul, Guster, and Aaron Lewis.

All proceeds will be used for playground improvements and outdoor enrichment opportunities for the students of Farmington River Elementary School.
